Job Description

Our client is seeking an Accountant to join their team. As an Accountant, you will be part of the finance department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Accountant

Location: Oakland, CA (Hybrid)

Pay Range: $32 per hour

What's the Job?

• Prepare and post moderately complex journal entries.
• Generate internal financial performance reports and narratives, create ad hoc reports, and validate data output.
• Perform account reconciliations and analyze variances, including key drivers and trends.
• Process and report transactions in accordance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in month-end and year-end close processes.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of experience in accounting.
• Solid working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Strong organizational, time management, and multi-tasking abilities.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and ERP software experience.
