Eitas is currently hiring an Automotive Technician

• Located at our Transportation Center, 6400 James A. Reed Rd., Kansas City, MO 64133
• Full-time schedule: Monday – Friday (with overtime as needed)
• Comprehensive benefit package, including health, vision, and dental
• Company-paid life, short-term, and long-term disability insurance
• 22 days of PTO earned your first year, plus 12 holidays and 1 floating holiday per year
• Starting pay range: $23.04/hr – $30.72/hr

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Diagnose and repair automotive, light, and medium-duty truck systems in accordance with the preventative maintenance schedule
• Diagnose and repair brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel, ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning, and computer systems to specifications in a safe and timely manner
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to other technicians, internal staff, and external customers as needed
• Respond to service requests submitted by drivers regarding the general maintenance or condition of vehicles
• Maintain current knowledge of new technical information and techniques through formal training sessions to stay abreast of rapidly changing automotive technology
• Be available for emergency service in the event of an in-route vehicle breakdown

Successful candidates will have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 5–10 years of Service Technician experience (must provide your own tools)
• Good driving record
• Missouri State Inspector’s permit, or the ability to obtain one ( assistance available )
• Current Refrigeration, Recycling, and Recovery certification (EPA Section 608 Technician Certification), or the ability to obtain one ( assistance available )
• Class B CDL with passenger endorsement ( assistance available )
• Federal DOT medical certification, or the ability to obtain one
• ASE Certifications (preferred but not required)
