Essential Job Functions

The crane operator:

Observes load hookup and determines the safety of load.
Manipulates or depresses crane contro.
Cleans and maintains cranes and hoisting mechanisms.
Regularly inspects crane for defective parts and notifies supervisor of defects or malfunctions.
Attaches load hooks or other accessories prior to operating crane.
Repairs defective parts on crane.
Operates overhead cranes, other lifting equipment, and other company vehicles.
