We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with our pediatric dentists to provide high-quality dental care to children, utilizing your expanded functions to enhance patient care and efficiency.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Assist pediatric dentists during dental procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
Perform expanded functions as permitted by Colorado state regulations, including placing and finishing restorations, taking impressions, and applying sealants.
Manage infection control protocols by sterilizing instruments and preparing treatment areas.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) in accordance with safety standards.
Educate patients and their families on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive dental care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Ensure a positive and comfortable experience for young patients during their visits.

Requirements:
Radiology certification as required by state regulations.
Pediatric chairside experience
Sealants Experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children and their families.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
