Role Summary

As a CNC Machinist , you will play a crucial role in our operations by operating a lathe to machine parts and components for flow control valves. Your expertise will ensure the quality of our products, as you verify finished work using precision measurement tools.

Shift Details: This is a second shift position: Monday-Friday, 4:00 PM – 1:00 AM , with opportunities for overtime, including some weekends as needed.

Your Responsibilities

• Inspect first articles and verify the quality of finished work using precision measurement tools.
• Meet production goals related to efficiency, schedules, and scrap/rework.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring machines and tools are in top condition.
• Understand the process flow of documents, materials, and parts through manufacturing.
• Collaborate with fellow machinists to troubleshoot repairs and equipment issues.
• Work closely with inventory workers and engineers to discuss work-in-progress.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum of 5 years experience operating CNC machines; familiarity with Mazatrol and Fanuc Control is a plus.
• Experience with manual mills and lathes is advantageous.
• Expertise in machining 300-series stainless steel and materials like Hastelloy C276, Monel 400, and high chrome alloys.
• Strong knowledge of machine tooling and processing.
• Proficiency in using and interpreting precision measuring instruments.
• Excellent blueprint reading skills.
• A personal commitment to quality workmanship and the ability to communicate quality concerns effectively.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to follow detailed procedures accurately.
• A collaborative team player with a professional attitude in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable attendance record, with the ability to work overtime and weekends as required.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, perform repetitive motions, and lift up to 50 pounds .
• High School diploma or equivalent.
