Job Description

VCI is offering  Hybrid/telework opportunities in various locations  for Administrative/General Clerks and Analysts working for the Office of Human Resources Processing Center for U.S. Government Agency Administrative Support Services supplement HR staff.

Duties / Responsibilities:
Indianapolis, IN : 

The duties of this position are developmental in nature and may include (but not limited to):

Administrative/Clerk II Employee Services, Processing, Front Office

Contract personnel assigned to the Employee Services Branch, Processing Branch, and Front Office function shall perform the following day-to-day office operations, including but not limited to:

  • Process personnel actions for CBP employees;
  • Calculate service computation dates and federal benefit dates;
  • Answer applicant status and employee inquiries via telephone, voice mail, and email;
  • Prepare/file/store employee selection folders;
  • Update applicant contact information and inquiries in tracking system;
  • Answer and respond to applicants and employees from Customer Inquiry line via phone and email;
  • Track and update electronic calendars;
  • Prepare correspondence packages;
  • Provide assistance to Local Property Officer with equipment and asset management;
  • Scan/upload accurate and legible documents into employee eOPF’s;
  • Adhere to Office of Personnel Management’s Guide to Personnel Record Keeping and other internal guidance;
  • Ensure timely monthly shipments to OPF scanning/storage facility;
  • Scan loose new hire documents to internal share drive and into employee eOPFs;
  • Provide access to and password resets for USDA systems and E-Verify;
  • Assist with Employee Personal Page (EPP) password resets;
  • Schedule fingerprint requests;
  • Review, certify, process timecards, and track attendance;
  • Conduct inventory of office equipment and supplies
  • PIV card administrator and issuer;

 

Clerk II Minimum Requirements:

•High School diploma or equivalent

•Active Public Trust Clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain one.

•1 year (prefer 2 years minimum) demonstrating experience in the following;

oAbility to perform problem-solving techniques and demonstrate analytical skills

oAbility to read, write, understand, and communicate in English

oAbility to perform multiple tasks and work well with others

oAbility to organize work and establish priorities

oProficient with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe

The duties of this position are developmental in nature and may include (but not limited to):

•Applies rules and procedures concerning pre-employment requirements sufficient to perform a segment of HR functions and to provide clerical, technical, and administrative support to the staffing program.

•Reviews pre-employment documentation for completeness and accuracy.

•Provides exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries concerning HR services, procedures, alternatives and requirements via telephone and email.

•Conducts HR Internet searches, prepares a variety of reports, enters data, and completes forms using a government computer and office automation software.

•Maintain strict confidentiality of Vision Centric Inc. information.

•Work with staff and client in a professional, tactful, diplomatic manner, with a positive attitude.

•Attend all mandatory training, in-services, company, and client meetings.

•Comply with all Vision Centric Inc. policies and procedures.

•Other duties and/or tasks as assigned on an as-needed basis.

 

Minimum Requirements:

•High School Diploma or equivalent.

•Active Public Trust Clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain one.

•One (1) year of demonstrated experience in the following:

-Reading, writing, understanding, and communicating in English Proficiency in oral and written communications and ability to follow oral and written directions to complete assigned tasks.

Duties/Responsibilities

Analyst - National Recruitment Division

The administrative support and project lead positions are located in an office setting and are primarily sedentary in nature. The following are very brief descriptions of tasks covered under this scope of work. The task items listed below are typical but not intended to be all-inclusive.

Contract personnel assigned to the Jr. Analyst Services function shall perform the following office operations, including but not limited to:

Maintain and organize event schedule;
Support in the planning, coordination, implementation, and reporting of virtual recruitment events;
Track individual creatives through the approval process;
Schedule meetings with key stakeholders;
Provide secondary visual and grammatical review;
Assist with data collection, formulation, and submission of minority, diversity, EEO and other workforce reporting mandates;
Report on active campaigns;
Facilitate recruiting and applicant care event scheduling;

Data Analytics - National Recruitment Data Analytics 
function shall perform the following day-to-day office operations, including but not limited to:

Manage master data, including creation, updates, and deletion
Manage users and user roles
Process confidential data and information according to guidelines;
Help develop reports and provide analysis;
Manage and design the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata;
Support initiatives for data integrity and normalization;
Generate scheduled and ad hoc reports from single or multiple systems;
Troubleshoot the reporting database environment and reports;
Evaluate changes and updates to source production systems;
Train end-users on new reports and dashboards;
Use statistical methods to conduct data correlation analysis and trend analysis for the development of forecasting models;

Technical Skills:
Advanced knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office products
Effective communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to prepare and make group/executive presentations
Resourcefulness, initiative and skill to function in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail in goal/task accomplishment with minimal supervision
Professionalism and the ability to interact effectively with others
Ability to meet planned and unscheduled deadlines in a timely manner
All personnel shall be able to work independently.

Qualifications
Associates degree or higher in related field
3+ years of relevant experience
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe
US citizenship and English fluency
Meet DHS Suitability Adjudication and Obtain Clearance. Must sustain said clearance throughout term
