Inside Sales-Service Representative

IEC Waxahachie, Texas

Our Waxahachie Plant supplies aluminum profiles for various applications ranging from windows, doors and special applications. Our core Aluminum Extrusion business in Extrusion North America is also supported by two plants in Indiana and 2 plants in California.

Summary:

Customer Service Representative is responsible for taking incoming orders from current customers and new customers. All general customer service duties as assigned and other office duties.

Job Responsibilities:

· Open and maintain customer accounts by recording account information.

· Standing, bending, walking and lifting for 8 hours per day.

· Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer’s complaint; determining the cause of the problem; following up to ensure resolution.

· Prepare product or service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information.

· Manage large amounts of incoming calls.

· All other duties as assigned.

· General office duties and manufacturing duties assigned as needed.

· Performs such individual assignments as management may direct.

Job Requirements:

· Minimum 3 to 6 months of customer service or office experience

· High level of accuracy and attention to detail

· Customer service or office experience

· Excellent communication and presentation skills

· Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively

· High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred

· Customer Service

· Documentation Skills

· Listening Skills

· Multitask

· Patience

· Organizational Skills

· Computer Skills

· Must be able to stand, bend and walk for a 8 hour shift

· Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
