Job Description

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking an Assembler to join their team. As an Assembler, you will be part of the Manufacturing team supporting the launch of innovative products. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Assembler

Location: Burgettstown, PA

Pay Range: $17.50/hr

What's the Job?

• Weld steel subassemblies to AWS B2.1/B2.1M standards.
• Create, prove out, and document dock leveler manufacturing processes with an emphasis on welding.
• Act as an active member of the launch team implementing welding, painting, and assembly processes.
• Check measurements and dimensions of each piece using rulers, measuring tapes, or squares.
• Review blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate completion of fabrication processes.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• AWS B2.1/B2.1M Qualified welder.
• Ability to comprehend blueprints, schematics, and work specifications.
• Physical ability to lift at least 25 pounds or more.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Kanban, and 5S methodologies.
