Salary: $15-$18 per hour

General Requirements

• Must be able to work in various outdoor conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and rain.

• Able to stand for extended periods and walk throughout the day.

• Must adhere to all company safety standards, operational procedures, and policy guidelines.

• Capable of lifting 50 lbs.

• Basic math and transaction skills.

• Specific job responsibilities are included as guidelines and can be expanded to include other duties as needed at the discretion of Green View managers at any time.

Position Specific Requirements

• Greet and assist customers with locating plants, supplies, and seasonal merchandise.

• Answer basic plant care questions and direct customers to knowledgeable staff as needed.

• Maintain a friendly, helpful, and service-oriented demeanor at all times.

• Ring up customer purchases using the POS system with guidance or supervision.

• Handle simple transactions, including cash and card payments.

• Direct customers to appropriate staff for complex transactions or returns.

• Load customer purchases into vehicles carefully and efficiently.

• Restock plants and materials such as mulch, soil, and pottery.

• Water plants, remove debris, and report signs of pests or stress.

• Maintain cleanliness in work areas and operate tools safely.

• Support greenhouse, tree lot, and nursery areas as needed.
