DMACC Marketing and Public Relations is searching for a talented part‑time, temporary production designer to handle the final stages of a design project. Some of the responsibilities include formatting and resizing graphics, applying color corrections and effects, editing layouts, checking and fixing errors and optimizing files for different platforms. Applicants must demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, the ability to follow instructions accurately, and effective communication skills. Essential Functions Concept and design promotional materials for the College and programs. Design traditional and digital ads. Concept and develop effective event materials. Concept and design displays and signs. Coordinate and communicate jobs with customers and vendors. Required Qualifications Two to three years experience of practicing graphic design. Proficient in software used in graphic design industry including Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Photoshop, Project Management Software (Asana, Trello, etc). Strong self‑starter, comfortable working independently managing multiple projects with concurrent timelines and competing deadlines. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to plan, organize and manage time. Desired Qualifications Experience with an advertising agency a plus. Experience designing ad creative for digital display, paid social media, web, print publications, and marketing collateral. Graphic design experience with a design firm, public relations firm or an educational institution. Work Schedule Part‑time temporary position up to 1,250 hours per year. Schedule to be determined.
