Location: This hybrid role can be based in Melville, NY, or Northboro, MA. Key Accountabilities Monitor and maintain the health of the gas SCADA system, including workstations, servers, communications equipment, and software. Conduct SQL Database maintenance and configuration. Support system reporting services and data exchanges. Develop and manage scripts and stored procedures. Coordinate with vendors for repairs of applications, servers, workstations, databases, and networking equipment. Support system patching, log review, and change management. Support repair of system outages and defects with the primary SCADA vendor. Assist in design, configuration, installation, repair, and maintenance of GMS servers, workstations, LAN, WAN, and ancillary equipment. Participate in the design, coding, testing, implementation, and documentation of control and reporting programs. Coordinate with support staff and vendors to evaluate patches. Participate in special projects and cross-functional teams. Provide after-hours and storm support on a rotational basis. Occasional travel for regional support and training. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science or related engineering discipline. Experience with SQL Server and databases. Experience with Microsoft Reporting Services. Proficiency in C# or similar programming languages. Experience developing scripts and stored procedures. Knowledge of Windows Server OS and networking principles. Experience with Active Directory. Strong analytical, coordination, and supervisory skills. Proactive problem-solving skills with high energy and responsiveness. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Ability to develop long-term plans and evaluate program effectiveness. Additional Information Salary ranges: Northboro: $112k - $132k; Melville: $120k - $141k. Opportunities for career growth and development are available.
