Overview Position: Senior Software Engineer (Remote First, Java/Kotlin) Location: Brazil - Remote, Brazil Job Id: 166 # of Openings: 2 Senior Software Engineer (Remote Contractor, Brazil) About The Role We’re looking for two Senior Full Stack Java Engineers to join our team as remote contractors. We’re seeking experienced engineers based in Brazil or across Latin America who want to join a US engineering team building and maintaining enterprise software delivering amazing customer experiences. In this role, you will own, maintain, and evolve an extremely valuable area of our software systems written in Java using classic spring. You will work with other engineers, product managers, designers, and leaders as part of our world class software engineering team. About You We’re looking for curious, enthusiastic, empathetic Sr Software Engineers to solve problems, execute on ideas, advocate for the customer, and contribute to a team culture built on trust and mutual respect. As a Sr Software Engineer here, you’ll have a significant impact on what we do and how we do it. We build and support systems using both Java and Node.js/React. You Have 3+ years experience building software or web applications with object-oriented or functional programming languages. Are willing to work on web applications on both the front- and back-end. Understand how to build solutions with an agile approach. You’re excited to collaborate closely with Product Managers and Designers and use real-time feedback to solve problems iteratively. Are interested in using tests to verify proper functionality. Do not rely upon testers to ensure your code works correctly.
