Department:Facilities Maintenance Department's Website: Summary of Job Duties:The Skilled Tradesman: HVAC works under the general supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and will be responsible for the maintenance, small installations and repair of all HVAC equipment, boilers, chillers and related equipment. The Skilled Tradesman: HVAC may also be responsible for performing tasks in other skilled trades areas as needed. This position is governed by established trade practices and institution policy.Qualifications: Required Education and/or Work Experience: HVAC licenses with minimum 2-year HVAC degree or HVAC license and five years of experience in HVAC field. Either requires 3 years minimum experience with HVAC- PM, chiller repair, boiler repair, AHU repair including all associated equipment and devices. Stable work history; and valid driver's license. Equivalent education/experience will be considered. Preferred Education and/or Work Experience : 5 plus years' experience with Chiller and Boiler repair is considered a plus.
