Job Description

Job Summary:

The individual in this position will develop Robotics Process Automation (RPA) Bots using UiPath and Power Automate to interact with existing systems which will automate manual, time-consuming processes. They will analyze business requirements and design robotic automation solutions as well as define the processes and train others to quickly and easily automate tasks.

Job Duties / Essential Functions:

Models ethical behavior and executes job responsibilities in accordance with Citizens core values, ethics, and information protection policies. 

  • Design, develop, and implement medium to complex Robotic Process Automation (RPA) software systems to meet business process and application requirements and maximize business model efficiency.
  • Work with business teams, cross functional technical teams, business analysts and key stakeholders to determine viable process candidates for automation, the mapping and modeling of process automation and maintaining the environment to ensure it remains highly available for business-critical processes.
  • Interact with internal and external stakeholders, and subject matter experts, to support all phases of RPA development.
  • Automate existing manual or paper processes to defined workflow processes and enhance the processes by adding process intelligence and decision-making capabilities with AI and ML.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (concentration in Software Development or Programming or Testing or Automation)  AND 5 years relevant experience,  OR  a combination of college education and relevant experience equivalent to 8 years 
  • At least 5 years* of software engineering experience  OR 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of a college degree
  • *Master's Degree or PhD in a relevant field may substitute for 1 year of experience 

Additional Experience, Skills & Abilities:

  • Expert level experience developing Bots using UiPath with strong knowledge of the Robotic Enterprise Framework with the ability to diagram and document the automation solutions in a detailed and well-organized manner.
  • At least 2 successful RPA end-to end projects implementation experience using UiPath
  • Minimum 4 years of experience developing high-quality object-oriented programs using C#, Java or Python.
  • Ability to analyze business requirements and design robotic automation solutions using UiPath and Power Automate.
  • Expert level experience in using various components of UiPath such as Orchestrator, Studio, Test Manager, Insights, Automation Cloud, etc.
  • Good experience and knowledge of both customer facing and back office / batch automation using UiPath and other commercial Robotic process automation tools/technologies.
  • Experience in using UiPath Credential Manager, Scheduling Bots, Setup queues.
  • Experience in staging and deploying the automation solutions into test and production environments
  • Ability to develop proof-of-concepts and demos needed for client & internal presentations.
  • Hands on development in Java and/or Microsoft .Net (C#, VB, VBA) and able to develop, compile, create and debug complex applications.
  • Extensive experience in automating web portals, MS Excel, PDF, TXT and Email automation.
  • Experience using at least two of the screen scraping methods and OCR API's.
  • Strong understanding of SQL concepts and web service interaction handling using REST/SOAP.
  • Ability to design and implement “helper” elements to improve automation performance and re-use (e.g., Runtime Configurations / Settings / Actions).
  • Experience interfacing with cloud platforms including ERP, CRM and HCM platforms such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, Oracle Fusion Apps and Azure cloud components.
