LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Snellville, Georgia.

Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit
• Discipline: RN
• Start Date: 11/17/2025
• Duration: 14 weeks
• 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, days
• Employment Type: Travel

Requirements

Minimum Experience:

• 1 year of experience required
• First-time travelers not accepted

Patient Population:

• Adults to Geriatrics

Certifications Required:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)

General Skills and Work Setting Requirements:

• PCU RN – Unit handles multiple diagnoses including:
  • GI Bleed, DKA, Stroke, TIA, Hypertension, NSTEMI, COPD, CHF, etc.
• Ratio/Census: 1:4; 24 beds
• Systems: Epic, Pyxis, SBAR
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue

Weekends:

• Every other weekend unless specified otherwise

Floating:

• Required throughout the facility or sister campus (Piedmont Eastside South)

Call Requirements:

• None

Holidays:

• If one major holiday falls within the assignment, the traveler is expected to work it.
• If two major holidays fall within the assignment, the traveler is expected to work both.
• If three major holidays fall within the assignment, the traveler is expected to work two.

Major Holidays Include:

• New Year’s Eve & Day: Dec 31 & Jan 1
• Spring Break: Apr 6–Apr 12 (NO RTO)
• Memorial Day: May 26
• Independence Day: July 4
• Labor Day: Sept 1
• Thanksgiving/Black Friday: Nov 27 & Nov 28
• Christmas Eve & Day: Dec 24 & Dec 25
