The Investment Performance Analyst (IPA) is responsible for the production and delivery of performance returns on our Unified Managed Account (UMA) platform accounts, working with our service provider, Vestmark, to ensure that necessary returns are calculated and distributed timely and accurately. The IPA will ensure adherence to GIPS Compliance standards, keeping up with new developments as they arise. As a member of the performance team, the IPA will represent Performance partnering closely with the Operations, Trading and Portfolio Management teams for data distribution. This position is based in our San Francisco, CA office and is a hybrid position and requires a minimum of two days per week (preferably on Tuesday and Wednesday). The approximate hours are 5:30am PT to 2:30pm PT (east coast trading hours). What You Will Do Ensure that performance output is produced in a timely and accurate fashion. Confirm compliance with regulatory requirements related to performance and client reporting. Adhere to GIPS Compliance standards, coordinating all efforts and partnering with external consultants as needed. Identify opportunities in the performance process to improve automation or increase efficiencies whenever possible. Validate and maintain performance data on Vestmark to ensure compliance with requirements and data integrity. Play an active role in all systems upgrades, conversions, or related events, providing methodical testing throughout. Develop, maintain, and document procedures. Represent Performance for legal contract, due diligence, RFP, audit or compliance requests or reviews as needed. What You Will Bring Bachelor’s degree in Finance, MIS, Accounting, or related field Two plus years of relevant financial services/asset management operations experience Experience in performance measurement experience, data management, information systems or investment operations a plus Experience with GIPS Compliance standards Knowledge of UMA platform managed accounts Demonstrated analytical skills. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to stay organized, highly productive, and deliver/complete multiple tasks within tight time frames. Strong technology skills (advanced Excel skills required) Strong interpersonal skills including team building and relationship management (within all levels of the business, both internally and externally). Prior experience with Separately Managed Accounts/UMAs, knowledge of portfolio accounting systems (Vestmark), business intelligence tools, and relational databases and experience with FactSet and/or Bloomberg viewed favorably. In accordance with the California salary transparency law, the expected annual salary for this San Francisco, CA, United States-based position is $55,000 - $95,000. Actual annual base salaries may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, and other job-related factors. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include discretionary bonuses and other Natixis sponsored benefit programs.
