Position Overview
Securify seeks a skilled and detail-oriented Service Coordinator to organize, track, and support all aspects of service operations for our advanced physical security team. This in-person role, working under the supervision of the Service Manager, involves managing service ticket flow, dispatching technicians, maintaining documentation, and optimizing daily operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, technical expertise in service processes and platforms, and be capable of communicating professionally and calmly with both clients and team members. Success in this role depends on balancing technical service expertise, precise multitasking, and effective interpersonal communication in fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities
Service Operations & Coordination

  • Coordinate, assign, and monitor all service requests, workflows, schedules, and tickets from initiation to resolution
  • Dispatch technicians, track on-site/remote jobs, and anticipate resource needs
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate service documentation, including reports, logs, scheduling, and compliance records
  • Support process improvements to streamline service delivery and enhance internal team efficiency
  • Track procurement for equipment, software, and inventory supporting service functions
  • Generate metrics and service reports for management review

Client & Team Communication

  • Communicate service updates, scheduling changes, and resolutions proactively to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate across teams to address challenges, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate solutions
  • Present a friendly, professional, and calm demeanor; handle client and team interactions positively, especially under pressure or during conflict

Quality Control & Continuous Improvement

  • Ensure all work aligns with company standards and regulatory requirements
  • Regularly review documentation quality, compliance, and process outcomes
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to keep skills current

Qualifications
Required

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in service coordination, technical administration, or dispatcher roles in managed services, security, or related technical field
  • Proficiency with ticketing/dispatch platforms and office software (Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace)
  • Able to manage multiple simultaneous projects and tasks with high accuracy and organization
  • Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication, effective time management, and proactive problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and within teams to achieve service delivery targets
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for occasional client site visits
  • Ability to pass a background check

Would Like To Have (but not required)

  • Proficiency in FreshDesk, Asana, and ACC (Avigilon Control Center)
  • Knowledge of physical security or electronic security service operations
  • Service or project management certification, or manufacturer-specific training
  • Experience coordinating teams in managed services, MSP, or network/technical environments

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with major brands such as Honeywell, Bosch, Lenel, Genetec, Avigilon, Axis, or similar
  • Certifications in security systems (e.g., ESA, NICET, manufacturer training) are a plus
  • Install and maintain fire alarm panels and devices

Physical Requirements

  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, and moving about the office for extended periods
  • Regular use of computers, telephones, and office equipment requires manual dexterity and visual acuity
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs of equipment and documentation
  • Occasional travel to client sites, requiring walking on uneven surfaces, climbing stairs, and working in variable weather
  • Capability to read and interpret documents and computer screens
  • Ability to kneel, bend, and perform inventory/field support tasks
  • Sufficient hearing and verbal clarity for communication in meetings and onsite support

Work Location

  • In-person position at Securify's Mountain View, CA office
  • Reliable transportation is required for travel to the office and client locations
  • Frequent travel within the service area is determined by team/project needs
