The role involves partnering with cross-functional teams to maximize revenue, ensuring revenue reporting accuracy, and optimizing contractual terms. Key responsibilities include reviewing contracts for revenue recognition per ASC 606, supporting audits, and improving the quote-to-revenue process. The candidate should have a strong understanding of ASC 606, be a strategic problem-solver, and collaborative. This position reports to the Sr. Manager, Revenue Assurance. The Impact You Will Have Support sales with complex accounting and compliance during deal negotiations to maximize revenue. Review customer contracts for proper revenue recognition per ASC 606, prepare memos and checklists. Evaluate revenue models involving usage-based, variable considerations, and product offerings. Generate deal metrics and support audit processes. Engage with sales and deal teams on complex transactions to ensure accurate revenue recognition. Identify and implement process improvements within the quote-to-revenue cycle. Collaborate with legal, sales, and revenue teams to align and standardize practices. Participate in automation testing related to revenue processes. What We Look For Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting; CPA a plus. 5+ years in public or corporate accounting, with 3+ years in revenue recognition. Deep understanding of revenue recognition principles and ASC 606. Experience in SaaS deal negotiations and technical revenue memo writing. Proficiency with spreadsheets (V-lookups, pivot tables). Excellent communication skills for working with cross-functional teams and senior management. Pay Range Transparency Range: $134,900—$206,800 USD. Compensation includes base salary, bonuses, equity, and benefits, based on experience and location.
